I wanna be so much more than a girlfriend. I wanna be a friend, more importantly. I need to know that I’m the one you can tell absolutely anything and everything, even if you become embarassed when you tell me. I need to know I’m the one you’d choose to be with if you were to be stranded in a desert or anywhere else. I need to know you wouldn’t be ashamed to introduce or bring me in to your family and friends. I need to know you’d be willing to do stuff with me, you know, not just be with me as a boyfriend, but things that you normally do with your friends. Yes, even with your guy friends, that especially. I need to know that you can be a hundred percent yourself when you’re around me, you can be as goofy as can be, as gross as can be, I’d like to know the real you, or anyone for that matter, anyway, no matter what you may be. I need to know you like me too, even more than you love me.

And that's probably one of the reasons I love you, and I like you cause you treat me more than just your girlfriend. 

Sometimes it crosses my mind, that love can just slip away, fade away after it’s given some time.. just like that. But I think when you like someone, it’s kinda more permanent. It stays like that. It’s indelible.
