Blog no. 3: Violence is Widespread in Movies
Violence is widely depicted in all forms of media, especially in movies. This is undoubtedly true in the Final Destination sequel. In one of its movies, there was this scene where a woman's head was stuck in between the elevator doors. Her head was left behind while the rest of her body went up with the elevator. Another was when someone was impaled by tubes after being hit and driven into them by a car. Green Mile is also one movie which I don't find pleasant to watch, particularly the scene when a prisoner was executed in an electric chair. What added to the violence was the fact that the sponge which was supposed to cause a quick death was not dipped into water by one of the guards, making the process quite long and very painful.
